Jean Piaget Jean Piaget was born on August 9, 1896 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He was the oldest child of Arthur and Rebecca Piagets family. Piaget specialized in developmental psychology and genetic epistemology. He published over sixty books and several hundred art icles end-to-end his career. From 1925 until his death, he occupied multiple chairs in psychology, sociology, and the history of learning at numerous Universities. He worked at Neuchâtel, Geneva, the International reliance of Education, Lausanne, the Sorbonne, and finally the International Center for Genetic Epistemology.
